SPRING 2008 NEWSLETTER
Spring!! What a spectacular
display Mother Nature puts on just for us!
Dogwood blooms, Azaleas,
fresh asparagus and strawberries! A time for long, leisurely walks
in the park and dreams of watermelon to come! It’s my favorite season of
the year and ushers in a time of awakening and renewal. This is the perfect
season to refresh and revitalize your home, indoors and out!

Outdoor living is at its
best with nature inspired color palettes that provide an oasis of peace
and comfort. Beautifully designed garden rooms with soothing water
features and stylish, comfortable furnishings create the perfect ambiance
for reveling and relaxing with those dear to you. Patios, verandas, and
poolside decks are a few candidates for planning your own special place
of serenity and enchantment. Fabulous and exotic fabrics, magical scented
candles, wind chimes, Moroccan lanterns and floating candles in a garden
pond scattered with flower petals imbue the balmy evenings with a sense
of ease and well being.
I remember my grandmother’s
sleeping porch when I was growing up in Georgia. What a special
treat to spend the night with her and be lulled to sleep with the soft
music of the night and fragrance of night blooming Jasmine wafting on the
warm spring breeze! If you are lucky enough to have one, dress it out with
bedding and accessories that reflect the colors of spring. Chartreuse,
aqua, blue and coral are a few good choices. The combinations are limited
only by your imagination and daring, let nature inspire you to be your
creative best.

To
awaken your interiors, maybe add some fresh seasonal colors with accent
pillows, fresh flowers (especially daffodils and narcissus), new area rugs
or some slip covers.
Rotate
your art and accessories to enjoy them with a new perspective!
So
have fun with this great season and live life with joy, wonder and style!
