On a recent trip to Mexico, I encountered the very rich and the very poor.  There was great disparity, but some of the difficulties that were encountered were the same.  Pondering this, I began to look for a way to express my thoughts.

This series, made from simple material, expresses some of the issues brought to mind. Their interpretation is personal as each person brings their own life’s experiences.  Where one will feels joy, another sees sadness. They become your own, expressing what you see and feel.
